The B and B is a short cab ride away from the train station. The hostess was WONDERFUL! The room was perfect for our needs and the free internet was very helpful. The next am our hostess took us to the port for our sailing. This was not expected and we were so very impressed. We would stay here again because of our hostess. To boot she spoke several languages.

We stayed two nights here prior to our cruise. The owner was courteous and helpful. We did not have a car, and the distance was not very far to the train station and the center of town, it's just a bit difficult to walk because of the heavy traffic and having to cross major road ways. We had the pleasure to cruise from Rome and needed a place to spend the previous night. We picked the Casamica bed and breakfast in Civitavecchia, and did not regret it at all. Beautifull setting close to both the train station and the port itself. Not only is it close but the owner are very available to supply you with rides to and from either, and at a more than reseanable rate. The owners are a very nice young couple with, by the way, a new born baby girl, congrats once again, they are attentive to your needs. Casamica B & B was a lovely place to stay prior to and after our cruise. The proprietors were very friendly and had a wealth of information about visiting Rome, as well as travelling by train in Italy. We enjoyed the fabulous take away pizza from just up the street, with a nice bottle of Chianti on the patio overlooking the sea. The B &B is close to the train tracks but we were never bothered by the trains. The B & B was very clean and comfortable. My husband and I stayed at the Casamica B&B 2 night in September/09.
We just wanted to say thank you to the host Germano & Patricia. Our experience there was wonderul. Everything we thought it was and more. I would highly recommend staying her to anyone taking a cruise or just getting away for a night.

07/08/09 It was such a treat to stay at Casamica the night before our honeymoon cruise to Greece. The hosts are AWESOME and will do anything to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast was really large and had a lot of variety, especially for a typical Italian breakfast. Free internet access was great for sending e-mails to let our families know we had arrived safely. They will also drive you to the port the next morning if possible. Definitely recommend!

"Stopped 2 nites and booked in for more": Very relaxing and friendly couple. Rooms are large and has a no worries feel about it. Easy pick up from the port and also local shops just behind very helpful even for english speaking customers. Will use again and have already recommended to other travellers. Our stay at Casamica B & B although only for 1 nite was a good experience. The place is clean and there is a small garden outside the house which made us feel more at home. The security of house is good. We walked to Civitavecchia a short ditstance from the house. The owner Mr Germano is kind and pleasant to brief us on how to go around Civitavecchia on our first arrival and even offer to send us to the port to join the cruise the next day free of charge. Recommended for others to stay.

We had a lovely time at Casamica. The rooms were very clean, great spot, close to the port, and in walking distance to restaurants/stores. Service was great, and employees very friendly. Would recommend to anyone, and would definitely stay there again. My husband and I and our 2 other friends certainly enjoyed our stay. (Angela, Ontario)

We stayed one night at the above B & B it was a lovely experience the owners were very helpfull to us. Our room was lovely and the breakfast was very good. The owner took us down to the CBD in his car and the following day he took us down to the docks for us to board our cruise ship. The owner were very friendly and a great asset to their business

We stayed one evening and found the experience wonderful. Clean spacious room, wonderful common room where we had a full breakfast. Spacious terrace to enjoy the morning sun and view of the sea. The hosts were respectful of our privacy, at same time extremely gracious -- they even gave us a free ride down to the docks to meet our shuttle bus to the ship!
We would stay here again, if we return... which we plan to do ....

April 2007: We stayed at Casamica the night before we sailed. House was fine -- clean, friendly, and tasty continental breakfast. Right near a store where we could buy wine and take it on board with us. The greatest feature was that Germano came to Fiumicino airport to pick us up. He was right on time. His price was much less than anything Carnival offered, and we had no others to wait for. Also, he took us to the port, where we checked in an hour before the lines started to build. At the end of the cruise he even drove us back to the airport. What a wonderful service to offer! When they get the outside court renovations finished, the place will be great, although there's nothing wrong with what they have now. We'd be happy to return -by Jim from Canada

Prior to our Meditteranean cruise, we stayed at Casamica B & B in Civitavecchia for 2 nights.
Our hosts, a young couple, were cheerful, helpful, and unobtrusive.
The accomodations were very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the added charm
of an outdoor covered patio, and a delightful continental breakfast each morning.
This is a typical home of a middle class Italian family.
The price was certainly right, and it was wonderful experience. It is a short walk to the town center.
Our host took us to the port on the day of our departure.
